What a Great Labor Day Weekend!!
Visitors began arriving Friday and setting up their tents for a GREAT weekend of camping, sailing, food and fun.
The CCCC club across the river provided music and fireworks for entertainment Friday and Saturday night.
Upon arrival guests were presented with a swag bag containing "Looeyville" momentos and a T-shirt providing tips about sailing on the Ohio River.
Commodore Dan French spent Saturday morning registering the 15 boats that arrived to participate in the regatta. 
Louisville Sailing Club's "Social Diva" Stephanie French, who organized the shore side festivities, prepared box lunches before the Race Committee meeting at noon. Neal Deaves, Regatta Race Chair, review the course that was to be sailed which included a gate which sailors could choose which route to return to the finish line.
Saturday provided winds from zero to ten miles per hour out of the Southwest. The Race Committee anchored in the middle of the river was able to start five races during the afternoon. Upon return the dock the sailors cooled down with drinks awaiting dinner.
The sailors had light winds on Sunday morning and were able to sail two races.
