new double trailer

It's a rainy day at the lake, so I figure I'll post a pic of my new trailer. I've meant to for a few weeks now.

Before last summer I was given(!!!) a Swift Solo (www.single-handedskiffs.com). Of course I didn't want to leave the Force 5 at home while I try not to kill myself on the Swift, but my family's usual lake spot is almost 8hrs from my house, so running back and forth seemed like a bad option. We don't have any place to store stuff here at the lake either.

Solution? Buy trailer that fits Swift, and, design a lowering second level for the F5 based on all of the ones available in the UK and NZ. I farmed out the welding, and not *everything* was done exactly to my plans (both for better and for worse), but I'm pretty happy with it in general.

That looks perfect for your needs! And you know that any sailor driving down the road, watching you go by, is going to want to turn around and follow you to the ramp! Drooling in Delaware...
